Daly smart bms ver. 1.1.3

Hello,
After downloading daly's smart bms latest version for ios I noticed that they added an active balancing section (see pictures). I tried to turn it on but no go!
Does the daly bms (lifepo4 12s in my case) require a firmware update to unlock the active balancer feature?

You have to put a "1" in for the value not "A" . It will only balance when charging. I ended up putting a 5A active balancer on my battery because the built in balancer wasn't enough.
