We use pzem-004t in our products as a drop in module. No issues with them over the years and the modbus is reliable.

yes... iso certification is useless. to get it you just write a bunch of crap on paper, and then everyone forgets about it...
iso never even actually checks if you implement what is documented...

wouldn't be surprised if other certs are just as bad... or just as useless.
