Daren BMS any good?

So, I have (2) 16kwH batteries on the way with MB31 EV cells installed. The batteries are prepackaged batteries from Docan. They are equipped with the Daren BMS. And have a 5A active balancing board installed. Should I give this a try or should I already be considering getting another BMS like a JK?

I have never heard of Daren BMS, but maybe it is a re-branded JK or JBD BMS with a 'skin' on it, like Overkill Solar does with JBD BMS. I'm not sure. Sounds pretty good based on those specs. What size cells do they use? 280Ah or 314Ah? People have enjoyed working with Docan.

I wish there was a definitive guide to BMS. I’ve seen off grid garage discuss the three different ones he has on his custom packs, but there seems to be about 6 brands that come up all the time. And not always for good.
The one you mention above is not one of them.

I am looking at these cost competitive 280 + ah pre built batteries, and also wondering about the BMS that gets installed. I have 2 DIY 16 cell 280 - 390 ah builds with reputable, JK BMS I can see everything via their BluTooth App, see if cells stay close in voltage on charge and discharge, and see all the default protection settings, and all settings to the way I want them. My Curiousity Wonders: If I spend a bit more for a well made pre assembled battery: Which ones come with a BMS in them that I LIKE because I can read them with an App connect, and adjust their settings if I want to. ??? Which Batteries on the Market have those abilities? and Which ones Do Not have those abilities? I think those are pertinent questions.

ANT, PACE,... and i know there are more..... and the battery vendors have them custom programed by the main vendors with different features and defaults.
