Data cable ports grounded EG4?

Would the comms ports on the Flexboss be grounded? And if I were to create a shielded cat6a cable, should I ground at both ends or would that create a ground loop?

I have this question because I’m trying to figure out how I am going to run the data cable from the Flexboss21 to the Gridboss.

The data cables that come with the Flexboss are shielded. But the cable tester didn’t show them as grounded. Maybe they are grounded on one end?

I needed a longer cable between the grid boss and inverters and just used the regular old cat5 cable.

I would, but I have to go though a concrete wall to get to the gridboss. So considering running in the same conduit with the Flexboss ac wires for some length.

I've installed a lot of aerial ethernet outside which subjects it to static discharge interference, so I've been making a lot of grounded messenger cables to use for that application. We used products from True Cable at work, so I use them at home too. If you look for them on youtube or on their website they have a lot of technical articles on making grounded cables. You need to get metal ends to crimp on to cable that has the right shielding, and attach the shielding to the end properly. Their tools and products are more expensive but they make higher quality stuff if you need it.

I did have the metal ends and crimp. Made a cable last night to test if I grounded properly and it worked. But was just worried about a loop as I grounded that cable at both ends.
