Wiring in DC breaker newbie questions

I’m just putting together my campervan solar system

480W solar (4x120W panels)
12V 200Ah Lifepo4 battery
Epever tracer 40A
Epever 2000W inverter

12V loads off the SCC load connection (for control) to a fuse box.

Questions:

Where is best to use breakers?

Do dc breakers replace fuses?

I’ve been planning on using one for both cables from the solar, one from the battery busbar to the inverter

I’ve been planning on using a battery switch on the live direct out of the battery to the busbar

Do DC breakers need to be in boxes?

The inverter specs 2 x 125A dc breakers between battery and inverter. I’m speccing 50mm2 cable for the battery bus bars to the inverter. I feel like the additional connections of 2 x 25mm2 cables could be a problem.

I feel like Im missing something obvious here and the system is getting too many connections/joints.

Im really keen to build a neat simple safe system that is both fused and disconnects everything quickly and simply when needed

Thanks

Ian

My two little arrays are fused at the arrays but I use DC breakers as disconnects inside. 8A in-line MC4 fuseholders, 10A breakers iirc
My FLA batteries are charged through a 63A breaker with iirc 80A wire.
