I mostly work with EVs... I have a non-drivable EV here with a >100kWh battery, working BMS + charging system, working cooling system, and I can enable the contactors to access the 400V lines.
The problem - EVs test the isolation between the car HV lines and the chassis requiring full isolation. Normal solar inverters connect the -ve (or +ve) to ground and montor for faults.
Thinking either:
A) Looking for recommendations for a grid tie inverter designed to run from 400V battery with DC ground isolation, or
B) Has anyone either modified a solar inverter to work with the DC input isolated from ground?
