DC House 48v 100ah for Golf Cart

Looks like it's this BMS
Never used this exact one... but
Looks very capable..
I have been very happy with the JBD stuff. One or 2 things should be tweaked, but so far has been great

I just found this on AliExpress:
C$134.89 | JBD 8S~21S BT Smart BMS 16S 48V LiFePo4 Li-ion 8S 10S 12S 13S 14S 16S 17S 20S 21S Battery 80A 100A 150A 200A With UART RS485 CAN

Still very pleased with it so far. One odd behavior I have noticed that I havent been able to pinpoint is when turning on and off the discharge in the overkill app, it changes the SOC in both that app and in the DC House App. The DC House App doesnt have the ability to turn it on and off directly through the app but I can through the included LCD monitor and it doesnt change anything when doing that. The first time I did it in the overkill app, it dropped the SOC from 100% to 68%. When I reconnect the charger, it'll charge for a few minutes and then show 100% again. When I did it yesterday, it dropped to 66% the first time. After doing it again, it changed to 77%. Once again, I connected the charger and the SOC goes right back to 100% within a few minutes and stays there. The voltage doesnt actually change when I do this so I wonder what would cause this.

Are you able to program the bms?
With overkill app?

I just found out you dont even need the overkill app. The DC House App has an advanced mode which lets you program the BMS also. I just posted about it here.

I have a 12v 100ah plastic version 3.0. It also claims to have “Safer Metal Fixtures: The internal battery cells of 100AH lithium batteries are fixed by metal clamps”

It’s been in service for about a month and the bluetooth has stopped connecting as of this morning. Awaiting on a customer support response.

Did you ever get a response from customer service? Mine is still working great, just curious how they responded in case I do ever need them.

Yes there was constant communication with about a week in the middle where I was waiting on some additional batteries to arrive. Each response was within 24 hrs via text. I was usually texting about 6am MT time. The follow up was generally between midnight and 2am on their end. They also have a direct phone line. I didn’t try that as the texting tag worked better for me.

I ended up having the same thing happen to 3 out of 4 batteries. Overall I am happy with the resolution. The fix was easy. I ended up draining them to zero soc and the BT reset. Batteries are all now working great and have not had anymore issues since reset.

Apologies for not following up sooner. We just closed the case on it yesterday.

* I should mention I have been charging with a usb c connection and not a dedicated lfp charger. They did suggest a 14.6v lfp charger or SCC several times so not sure if the issue is related to that or something else. They did reassure me that the built in usbc 20v3a protocol on the version 3.0 batteries was acceptable and not a safety risk.

Is this the ' camper ' battery, with the 12V 5552 and USB-C?

My understanding is the overkill app can change settings that the native apps may not be able to. Proceed with caution.

So was there anything to report as to a cause for the bt dropping out? (Mine doesn't have bt, but I'd like to follow anyone with any DCHouse/Eco Worthy issues.)
Yes to be clear not the golf cart but still was advertising the metal frame compression inside like its big brother.

The suspicion is the dchouse app and possibly not so friendly with an older Iphone 8 plus.

I agree. So far there isn’t a lot of data to review on the dchouse branch so it is nice seeing what other people have experienced with them.
