DChouse 48v 50ah lifepo4 battery info

Yeah, see if you can leave it at the float voltage for a long time (weeks?) to see if that one low cell will come up, or charge just that one cell manually with an external power supply.
I'm sure others will disagree with me with this, but I had to add a active balancer to many of my other manufacturer batteries or reduce the charge voltage down to 55.2 which will greatly increase their longevity

I also tried charging each battery to 3.65 individually with a separate power supply that worked on some of them but not others

so far its been on a long float charge about 3 days , just lifted the lid its moved from 3.37v to 3.38v , will have to find my older charger to try the cell on its own will update once done 2 other cells that are a little slow off the mark but ok will get a top up as well may as well play around with it . any how where can you buy single cells ,

if the bms ends up being the suspect i will pick up a basic cheap one to do a slow charge of the batt pack and see what results i get , before i go buying a good bluetooth setup
added
i just had a look at cycles since new its had 160 cycles (max)

we had a nissan leaf and used the setting in the menu only to charge to 80% for a battery longer life , when it turned 10 years old and 76.000 miles it still had 11 bars out of 12 of SOH , batt packs have been around for a while now there must have been some sort of study done , i have some A123 cells i still use in a r/c model after 20 years still good

so time to play. new battery on its way should have it wed/thur also ordered a daly 40amp 16cell bms , wont get that till later in the mth gives me time to charge up / top up each cell then leave and monitor the cells over 2-3 weeks . will post results then

new batt pack arrived all cells ok and sitting at 3.29v , dc-house if your reading this the delivery people used do like to chuck them around the van from height, but they are well packed and protected so no damage , apart from one buss bar cover floating around the box you could hear the rattle as it moved from one end of the box to the other
old batt pack has had cells topped up and all apart from 3 seem to have settled down to 3.52v /x2 at 3.5v /one at 3.49 after 24hrs , only time will tell, its looking like the BMS , i could if needed do a charge/discharge on the one cell later but hoping the daly bms will give me more info when it arrives, that might be after i get my pension :)

update its arrived , rechecked all the cells they have all settled around the 3.43-3.47v , then recharged the battery and got the same fault one cell dropped to 3.38 , can only be the bms , so time to change it the bms that is , i found the daly to be just a tiny bit smaller (as picture) so cant see any problems fitting in the same place , x3 nuts hold the bms in place but you have to remove the plastic handle to get to the 3rd

the old balance leads are in 2 parts but if you trim the little lug on the side of the connectors you wont have to re-wire the cables with the new lead provided ,next fit the bms to the frame easy drill 4 holes screw in place, but make sure you fit balance leads to get the correct placing of the bms or the cables will be too short you will need a longer -p cable or the one fitted will not allow the plastic handle to be refitted , it has x2 temp censors one reached the center of the pack the other is on cell1-2 , blue tooth range is reduced by the metal case , but does enough for my use , so far via the app the daly bms has balanced the pack to with in 0.039v , now was that the new bms or was it just the cells being able to correct them self with out a faulty bms causing problems , but can only thank dc-house for all there help , when the other 3 batteries warranty runs out i will be fitting bluetooth bms systems to them as well , any other good makers members can recommend

What brand and P/N BMS came with the battery? Does it have a Bluetooth port? The issue I see is that there is no way to know what is happening with this battery.

i can put up a picture of the old bms later maybe some one will know what it is , it has no ports but due to the price its still cheaper if you fit a bms with bluetooth

update as its been around a year , its had 100 cycles bms is showing cells balancing ok , on discharge cells go out of balance a little but once it drops to a low 500w or less they balance again i have been pulling 1kw at times , well every full charge as i top up the mrs car , i cant seem to find them up for sale any more have dc house stopped selling them in the uk
