Bifacial 200W panels for $88 a piece shipped
(This is a 2 pack for $175.99)

I've used the non-bifacial variants (The spec sheet actually says 195W) of these and they regularly put out 180+ watts and I never had them angled exactly, they were just haphazardly placed vertically off the side of my deck. 👍

I bought a 4 pack of the EcoWorthy 195 watt bifacials back in July. I was maxing out the Victron 150/45 SCC, wattage from the panels was about 650. Now more recently, getting like 550ish watts due to seasonal changes or winter sun intensity. I probably need to mount them off the ground higher to take advantage of the bifacial gain.

I'm pretty happy with their performance so far, can't speak on how they'll hold up in the long run.

I think its a decent deal, for those of us not wanting to mess with freight charges or having to purchase a case of panels to get better shipping rates.

Thanks for this. I have some 210w sunpower panels that I bought used for 40 each and these are almost 1/3 smaller in dimension and tested out better than the sunpowers. Considering gas and time spent these are literally cheaper really. Amazing how far solars come. Now I have to convince myself to climb on the garage and make these ones fit

Yeah, these obviously can't compete with higher wattage used newer monocrystalline panels in terms of cheapness.
(but those deals don't come up on craigslist or Marketplace very often)

But as far as just readily available non-freight shipped commodity panels you can't beat these.

I am showing US $249.99

To be fair to the sunpowers, you're going to lose at least 10%, maybe closer to 20% when the EW get dirty and age a little. Also the Sunpower has higher voltage so don't need as many.
I have similar sunpowers and I'll consider the EW if they get around the $40 mark.

Just wait they'll be back on sale again.
Yeah, they do the pricing games every month (sometimes more than once a month). Can't get away from "amazon" pricing these days...

I could use a couple more panels right now but won't pull the trigger until they go on sale again. It'll be a Christmas sale or new years blowout, lol.

The sunpowers are my most recent panels by age. I actually took down 3 Mitsubishi panels that are ~20 years old to put these 4 up. I’m on 48v so most my strings are up to around the 100v mark. My garage unfortunately has shading issues from November until February so I have to run the sunpowers in a 2s3p setup to get some output from them around now. I only averaged around 250-300w on my Mitsubishi’s so if I can get 600-700w out of 4 Ecoworthy’s I’ll be happy.

And yes my setup is very ghetto.

They're on sale again
Awesome.

$88 a piece is a really damn good deal for these and about the best deal Watt per dollar that I've ever seen on solar panels overall.
(again as stated above, not including buying a whole pallet of larger panels and assuming you can not find any used solar panels locally on Marketplace or CL)

I'm tempted, but it's hard to pay $0.44/watt when there are plenty of real panels on sale frequently around $0.25/watt and having bought panels under $0.20/watt myself. I think I'll wait until I actually need them

200 watt bifacials for $110 free shipping also

These are small panels which avoid freight shipping, which is a plus for many people.
I like the lower weight because it's easier to install
I have some panels that are big and I don't know how to get them on the roof. These are easy. But I'm not ready to pay double for the convenience and then again double for racking. Just something to keep in mind

But they're prefect for my sun trackers.

Just ordered these to keep my mobile setup charged. This seems like the best deal out there for portable panels right now, unless someone's found one better.

I was almost tempted by the 800w bundle that included the 60A SCC for $520. Same price/w on the panels plus $170 for the SCC didn't seem worth it though.

yeah, especially for a mobile setup better to put that 170 towards a all in one

You'd use an all-in-one for a mobile system? Any in particular you'd recommend? I just grabbed an SCC and bench power supply and made the old ghetto milk crate.

Finally got these. It's a good thing they were packaged so well with padded spacers on the corners, because FedEx really banged them around. They're also the perfect size for easily carrying two of them in a box for mobile use: around 50lb and small enough to get your arms around.
Might try to rig up a carry and storage case of some sort, to casually sling them in the back of the truck for camping.

The voltage is off for me. Otherwise would really consider getting one after the storm messed up 2 of my panels

Yeah, I can only put 3 in a string to stay below 100Voc, annoying downside. Keep telling myself "mobile use, mobile use..."

For anyone who didn't check, all of Ecoworthy's online stats for these panels are wrong. The manual and panel sticker list the following:
Voc: 24.5, not 23.7
Vmp: 20.2, not 19.8
Isc: 10.14, not 10.5
Imp: 9.65, not 9.85

Tested these this afternoon. Just on the ground propped against a fence they were putting out 270W/400 nameplate, near the Canadian border in January. Much better than I could have ever expected: we only get 250W/m² at noon with zero cloud, 1/4th of STC test conditions!
