Deye Firmware Tracker Thread

I did a firmware update recently, if anybody is interested I can upload the files for EU (6027) and US (5227) versions.

8K-SG01LP1-EU

If we can get the firmwares from the Deye service, it could be interesting to centralize them.

I am interested in the HMI 0000-C370 firmware.

Edit: I'm updating my listing with EU/US accuracy for 8K.

Thanks

You may notice that the last 4 digits never change.

Maybe this is a certain hardware version?

3.6K to 6K LP1 all end in -1515.

I received an email from Deye:

Hello
The firmware of the inverter is now the latest version, which is even newer than the one we are currently using and does not have a bin file

Testing the MPPT Multi-Point Scanning function when the shade falls on the solar panels at the end of the day.

What's your conclusion? Is it better enabled if there's partial shading?

Not related to firmware versions but I am curious how the EU owners deal with AC coupling? The Deye EU inverters show AC coupling ability, but I don't see any frequency shifting mechanism ability. Is there simply a relay cut-off on the GEN port when the battery reaches full?

Works exactly the same on all deye/sol-ark/sunsynk models

I found these .bin files on a Deye server that was referenced in github. They are MCU1-SG-Ver0000-
C35D, C36B, C36E, C362, C363, C364, C366, and C369

Not sure if they are useful without the corresponding MCU2 .bin file but thought I'd share them anyway.

Someone who knows about these inverters told us hat 5,6,8kw inverters are built with same hardware and the power limits are set by firmware. It makes sense because spec sheets for these 3 models mention that its same dimensions and weight. SG03 series

Maybe Deye will someday sell a firmware upgrade which unlocks higher power like Tesla is doing lol
I have a sun-5k-SG03LP1-EU.... If someone with a 6k-SG03LP1-EU is willing to give me the 2 bin files I will upgrade mine to see if it works :)

Don't do that. The statement above is bullshit.
Place a 5K and an 8K side by side and you see what I mean.
Wishing doesn't make it so...
You will kill your 5k with FW for an 8k.

You are talking about a different 8k.

How come the weight, dimensions and picture are the same then?

I would be a little careful though... Looks like the rated input current and the max passthrough current rating is different between the different models. Does this mean different relays? If so, then that would mean different internals, at least for the relay board... Not trying to burst any bubbles. Sounds pretty cool if it's possible to do this. Just throwing out a caution.
