Deye Hybrid Inverters. What's the difference in the models SG03, SG04, SG05 ? (Excluding Power Specs)

Hey everyone. I have been looking at the Deye Hybrid Inverters because you can hook them up in Parallel like the Growatt and Victron.
I am trying to work out what the difference is between their various "Series" , SG03, SG04 and SG05.
Obviously, the specs are different, but there is a lot of overlap between the single-phase units.

The only thing I could see really was that the SG04 Series are passively cooled with a large heat sink. The rest have active cooling with fans ?

Thank you

Hi, i just recieved a SG05 6kw. My order was for a SG03 6kw.
Dealer told me they are the same. He did not even want to correct my invoice.
Hoping that 05 means later version. I have added extra 12V DC coolingfans.
Without the front housing was really hot.
Now i think it is perfect.
Anyway inverter works really well. Mppt's are performing better than expected for a Hybride.

I was surprised to see the extra warning label.
"2) Max DC 3250 W input per mppt in zero export application!!"

damn my SG03 5kw is on the way and my string is already wired 4850w. I'm going to use it in zero export mode. Not sure if this limitation is there in SG03 as well.

IView attachment 105587 Just wondering Is the SG05 passively cooled, no fans? How many watts is the unit consuming, the old versions of the 8kW were around 100 Watts per hour?

Same question. Looking at SUN-8K-SG01LP1 vs SUN 8K-SG05LP1.
What is difference besides other type of fans and cooling upwards vs. sideways?
Or is one a outdoor vs. a indoor version?
Or revision numbers?
SG05 is more expensive...but would like the newer/better version whatever that is ^^.

Eagerly awaiting an answer from one who knows. About to order ^^.

2200 Euro (18% discount) for the SG01
3210 Euro for the SG05.
Per piece and I need 3...

They are to be installed inside - tech room - in case it is only inside/outside model difference and not revision/version numbers.

I am mostly interested in the revision of the BOARDS although I like the ventilation down to up on the SG05 vs. the sideways on the SG01...but on the other hand I will normally run 2-3kw per inverter so they won't get that warm...outside short windows running poolpump etc.

No reason to spend 1000 euros more for SG05. Just go with the SG01.
