Deye Inverter drawing from grid

Hi,

I have installed 2 x 12kVa 3 phase Deye inverters connected in parallel. Even though I have ample solar genration, it still draws power from the grid. Load first is enabled. I would really appreciate any advice on minimising the grid usage. Thank you.

From your image, the home loads and battery charging total was in excess of the solar generated, so the grid make up the difference

If I trip the grid, it increases the solar production and is able to fully supply the load and charge the batteries.

Yep, he needs to untick the grid charge box for that TOU slot.

I have unticked the grid charge and it unfortunately still draws from the grid.

Do you have Zero Export Power set to 1000W? This setting may have a different description on a Deye, Typical value is 10W or 20W. It's a value to prevent grid sell.

Don't know anymore, CT's installed correctly battery % to 20 and work mode detail to load first then it have to work. Cannot think of anything else.

We finally found the problem. It seems like the inverter draws from the grid on the smartload - this has something to do with reactive power. I took the geysers off the smartload and the system is working perfectly.

Isn’t there some setting related to smart load where it will take the balance of the power it needs from the grid? I’d want to do that if I had an EV charger as the smart load. I’d use whatever excess solar was available but supplement it with grid power.
