Dips in PV power

The spec of the X3-10.0P SCC shows Max input current of 12/24A (I do not quite understand why it is rated as xx/xx)
So the 7s2p will have Imp of 13.04A x 2 = 26.08A.

it's xx/xx as one mppt has a single string while the other has two parallel strings so the current doubles.

English isn't my first language either so no worries. But yours looks really good.

If I'm reading the graphs correctly. It looks like amperage is considerably higher. On PV2 after the re configuration. Could it be shutting down from this?

I'm not very familiar with grid-tied and frequency shifting. Hopefully someone else can help.

First, PV2 is on mppt B with 12+12 or 24 amps capacity while max current hasn't touched 24 as yet. Second, the dips are not always at peak production time so max current shouldn't be an issue anyway. Last, the dips are not shutdowns as the production doesn't go down to zero.

It's doesn't look typical clipping (see below) to me so I think we can discount that.

It might be Rule 21. Some (most?) grid tie inverters in the US ship with Rule 21 settings enabled. I dare not try to explain Rule 21 as I don't understand it, but I think it has to do with California having so much solar on the grid that it needs to be regulated around mid-day to prevent from destabilizing the grid. And it might not that at all, sorry.

My inverter was doing something similar until I got a hold of Solis, and they walked me through the hidden technician menu to disable Rule 21 since I'm not in California. It's worked fine ever since.
