I have 4 SmartSolar 100/20 CC that I need to bring together in a power distribution block that will tie to another PDB that my 2 48v LifePo4 battery banks and inverter will connect to. Each bank is using a daly BMS that is rated for max draw of 300a. If my calculations are correct does this mean I need 4 (2 positive/2 negative) distribution blocks rated for 600a? If a PDC doesn't state it's current rating but is designed for specific wire gauge (s), should it work? I like the design of this one for one applirbyt it doesn't state rating. I would use 2 of these to consolidate output to battery from CC's

That looks like a distribution block for audio. I wouldn't use it in my system.

This is similar to what I used. I picked the first one that came, I'm not recommending it one way or the other. It's just an example.

Is there a reason why a distribution block like this wouldn’t work in an rv or van?

It depends on what level of current you're distributing. Maximum fuse size according to the ad is 80 amps. I wouldn't use it for an inverter, but it would work for LED lights, water pump and USB charging for sure.

Don't cheap out on the critical items in your system.
Buy quality buss bars rated for your hardware and use a crimped ring terminal, imo.
