I would like to ask suggestions for Hybrid inverter

Fox K-Series 10kW Hybrid Inverter KH10 (Single-Phase) (4 MPPT). ?

I want to install a DIY battery Li-ion (Seplos) do you know if the FOX inverter will work with DIY battery ?
Thank you

The DIY battery will work with any inverter, as long as the voltage is correct.
But the problem will be getting a DIY battery approved by the utility company and your local inspector.

Do I need to get approve my Seplos battery from the Utility company ? I am building this system to don't need the utility company, I will not sell any electricity from my Seplos battery. Local inspector ? you mean the electrician that will install the panels ?
From my research Seplos battery will not work with FOX inverters only Solis.

Does someone know if you can connect 2 Solis 8kw hybrid inverters together ?
cheers

Only if you connect it to the grid.
I assumed that you would be, since you are paying the extra money for a hybrid AIO.

That depends on how things are done where you live.
In the US, it's a county inspector.
I believe that in some European countries the electrician can certify the installation. (Maybe)

If you are referring to communication ability, I have no idea.
But if the voltage is correct, any battery will work.

In case you don't get an answer, this information can be found in the specs sheet.
Look for something saying that it can be connected in parallel, and it will also say how many can be connected together.

What he said ^^^. It depends on model of Solis and exactly what you mean by 'connect together'. Newer ones support full parallel operation. I have two Solis inverters that don't support 'parallel operation', but they are 'connected together' via the Live, Neutral and Earth wires... and one will happy take ac-coupled production from the other to charge its batteries ;)

The inverter types are solis RHI-6K-48ES-5G
6KW AC output each one. 2 DIY batteris Seplos 2x 14Kw= 30kw
each one connected to Solis inverter.

These are the old solis hybrid inverters.
As understood from @SeaGal the old solis don't comunicate between them ?

Does the new solis S6-EH1P8K-L-PLUS works with DIY Selpos batteries ?
cheers

Correct, but you can use them AC coupled successfully.

Just be aware that the RHI model Solis only support 3000W from battery due to 62.5A limit on the DC side.

Any alternative hybrid inverter around 8-10kw to work with Seplos batteries ?
For UK
Cheers

Take a look at the Sunsynk range (=Deye).

@houseofancients is the Sunsynk + Seplos guru around here - he may chip in with specific models suggestions for that power range.

I am personally using the sunsynk 12k 3 phase inverters ( 2 in parallel) with my seplos boxes.
I have installed a plethora of different sunsynk / deye models and have yet to find any models that will not properly work with seplos
Sunsynk = deye ( same hardware, same firmware , different GUI )

Have a luxpower install coming in Dec, so cannot comment on their interoperability from experience yet, but from what I have been able to find , they should work fine too

Thank you very much for the advise guys.
@houseofancients Does sunsynk / deye needs any module to comunicate with the baterry BMS ? or is it straight forward ?
cheers

Inverters support canbus and rs485 and pylontech by default.
Seplos has support for both canbus and rs485 using pylontech 1.3.
For some models you may need a different pinout for canbus ( my 12k's being one of them), most just use a "normal" network cable..

Should be a breeze to get going

Thank you for your help guys
I think this one will be fine, not sure if thats the letest model or old stock

DEYE 12KW SUN-12K-SG02LP1-EU

I hope I can connect more than one battery seplos set to it.
I had a look to the manual and it doesn;t specify about batteries
Any advice is welcome
cheers

have the same inverters, hooked up to 8 seplos mason 280 DIY v2 kits, so you'll be fine
i think the limit is set to the BMS, and for the v2 that would be 16

Do you know if the inverter will work with the V3 BMS ? I have one battery set with V2 BMS but i want two battery sets but not available so easy the V2 BMS ,,, so most likely i needs to switch the V2 with V3 BMS to my battery pack.

Cheers

No clue, I steer away from the v3
