I am planning to make a 48V 400Ah DIY battery. Below, I have three questions, would be grateful if you share you answer.
- Which battery is better for DIY battery, BYD Blade or BYD/CATL ternary battery?
- Which is better: a 48V 400Ah battery made up of 16 cells of 3.2V 400Ah in series, or two sets of 16 cells of 3.2V 200Ah in series connected in parallel? Or is there a better configuration?
- If I buy new blades/cells in March and assemble them in July, would it have any effect on the cells? (I am an international student in Beijing. In Feb my next semester will start, so I am thinking to send some cell back home and at the end of this semester I will go home to assemble them their)
