DIY/Homebuilt trailer forums recommendations?

I'm looking for any forums for DIY/homebuilt trailers, more specific travel trailers (teardrop on up to smaller 15-20', not giant 5th wheel or the like). Need some help/recommendations with a bit of repair on the trailer I have.

IRV2.com is where I spend my weekends. Check it out. I post in the forums for my brand. If older or DIY, responses may take a day or more.

Ah, thanks.
Check out Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers....Link
Already found that and posted (https://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=76740). The one suggestion so far, for some marine epoxy, I'm not sure is really workable due to the physics of it. It'll just drip down and out, basically.

EDIT: Ugh, IRV2.com doesn't seem to have a good password policy. I've tried down to 16 characters with A-Z, a-z, 0-9 randomly generated and it STILL rejects my password when trying to create an account. WTF. I can't believe 16 characters is too many, much shorter and the entropy starts getting pretty low. *sigh*

How about "Drizzt321!UgotIT" or similar?

When I emailed them they offered to "create the account for me". I replied with how does that help me? Password still won't validate. What is your password validation?

I'm betting is archaic like 8-12 characters, letters and numbers only. Ugh.

I recall that as well. Old forums/blogs. Use a fake name/account I guess like here.

Turns out it's actually that `RV Life` is a network of sites, that all use a common user/pass DB, even if they are separate user accounts. I apparently had one on their Fiberglass forum, that I didn't realize. And of course the registration page never told me about that there already was that email address in the system. Ugh. Terrible user experience.

yes I guess RV life is a parent; got an email/newsletter from them today for the first time, probably because been 30 days or something since I logged in. Spam/delete.

Hopefully in the next few days I'll get some ideas/advice beyond what I've already decided is the best course for the fix. Already have some things on the way, worst case there's a better idea I'll have a few things available for another project, otherwise I'll be proceeding with what my plan is. The vintage trailer guy I've worked with for other things thinks the idea is more or less sound, in concept. This weekend will be getting some measurements, and next weekend will be start trying to fix.

Hmmm...let me take some bigger cardboard bits so I can cut to make the outline as a general template :)

I'd brush epoxy into that delam, use some wax paper wrapped around a clamping board ( we call those a 'caul' when they have a specific shape or purpose), and just accept that a bunch of epoxy is going to drip out. Clamp the snot out of it with a bunch of clamps, protect the exposed clamp bars with some tape for that dripping mess.
Once that sets up, lay some 6 oz cloth over it for added strength.
I have the giant 5th wheel design in my head, but not really giant. 26' overall and less than 5000 pounds empty.

I'm planning on DAP Weldwood Landau Top & Trim spray https://www.dap.com/products-projec...dhesives/contact-cement/weldwood-high-streng/

Heat & water resistant, and designed for flexible and strong permanent bond, including for laminate work. I'm preferring spray because then I can be certain to get all the way up in there into the very corners/edges. And then I'm going to use some wood over top covered in a couple of layers of painters tape clamped down. I'm going to do some measurements, probably some 12" throat C clamps, if I can make the thickness work out, since I need some wood to protect the exterior of the trailer that I'm going to be clamping to as well.

Then my thought is 1/8-1/4" baltic birch or similar with some light sanding and some more of the DAP, clamp and let bond, then pilot holes and some screws for additional strength. Clean up around things, tape/plastic bag everything to be sure of overspray, and then do some SEP low VOC asphalt based undercoating spray, 2 or 3 coatings to be sure I have things sealed up.

Need to hit up the recycling bin for some larger cardboard to cut some forms so I can get a good idea of the size of sistering wood I need and cut/route roughly to shape, and then bring things with me so I can get it exactly what I need.

Going to be next weekend, it's been rainy this week, but next week should be dryer so less moisture all around.
