Just sharing.
I had my exposure to inverters at the backshed forum where I learned from very helpful and smart people there. My intent was to use solar to power a 1.5 hp pool pump which runs daily for 4 hours. I started with the 48 volts ozinverter design but later added options which up to now I have no time to work on. Everything inside the cabinet including the cabinet is DIY except for the SCC. I used a 2.2 kva toroid from ebay and re-wound it. The inverter tested to be able to handle up to 3.4 kva loads.
