My smartshunt 500 amp does not have a connection for the temp sensor.
I think they put those connections on the battery monitor - the round display thing that I do not have.
I don't think there is a temp sensor on the MPPT either.
OH looks like I am wrong - the aux port - usually used for a 2nd battery - can be a temp sensor:

Temperature sensor for BMV-712 Smart and BMV-702 . This temperature sensor needs to be purchased separately. Be aware that this is a different temperature sensor than the temperature sensors that are included with Victron inverter/chargers and some battery chargers.
