Does anybody know if this Schneider C60H-DC, 2P breaker is bi directional?.

I am not well versed on this matter

I looked at the data sheet but, as far as I can tell, nothing is expressly said about the breaker being polarized or non polarized.

However, the data sheet does say:

Trip type: “thermal-magnetic”

and

Comb busbar and distribution block compatibility: “Top or bottom: standard”.

Also, the wiring diagram on the face of the breaker depicted below has (+) and ( - ) indicated on opposite sides, top and bottom.

I like the arrows! That’s a new one for me.

What they are saying in the first picture:
is that the line voltage - goes to top left, + goes in the top right
and the load goes on the bottom as indicated.

Alternatively, in the second picture:
is that the line voltage + goes to the bottom left, - goes in the bottom right
and the load goes on the to- as indicated.

Depending on current flow direction is how it is wired.... can't be used between inverter and battery but can be used on SCC or PV wires

Yes, that is fine, current only flows one direction

Between the battery and the inverter it flows both way unless you are off-grid....

But note: if the inverter is an AIO you can't put it between there and the battery since the SCC is built into it
