I have recently purchased this Drok meter, which shipped with zero instructions for wiring and operation:

Charge-Discharge Multi Testers, DROK DC 0-120V 300A Power Meter with Color Digital LCD Display, Battery Volt Amp Power Capacity Temperature Monitor, Voltmeter Ampmeter https://a.co/d/ccjLcJY

Having scoured these forums and other sites, I have found two different user manuals, one of which shows the hall effect sensor mounted on the battery positive cable, and the second manual showing the hall effect sensor mounted on the battery negative cable.
Which mounting is correct, or is it either or both?

Thanks in advance,

Markansas

It doesn't matter which cable the sensor goes on, it just has to be aligned (see arrow on sensor) with the current flow. Away from the battery on the neg side, or towards the battery on the pos side.

I have the same monitor and agree with above. My trouble is figuring out some of the settings. Is there a way to get the screen to shut off after 30nseconds or a minute? I played with various settings and haven't been able to figure it out.
