Duracell GC-2 vs "EGC-2".....Feel like I got robbed a bit.

Had some Duracell GC-2s that were not that old but capacity was not as advertised when brand new and they rolled off so I returned them expecting to exchange. They of course did not have GC2s so I got paid for the "upgrade" which I felt was stiff at $35 more per battery for an extra 4lbs of Lead.

I am curious and hopeful there are some other benefits to these batteries? they are the same form factor so there is only so much crap you can fit in that 5lb box.

To be fair to them, they weren't treated particularly well. For Duracell GC-2/EGC-2 I trust Mainesail's guidance; mine are on day 1,045 of off-grid service.

+15Ah. There may be some extra collection area under the plates but I haven't seen a teardown.
