DYKB smart BMS

Well after 73 days I finally received my 3 120amp DYKB Smart BMS. My 12 LifePo cells I got from Amy went by sea freight and only took 50 days. I need to read up on these again. Anything special I need to do when hooking them up. Seems I remember reading you had to jump something the first time you hook it up.

As far as I know:
DYKB BMS = Battery Hookup BMS = Overkill Solar BMS = JBD Smart BMS = JBD-SP04S020 = Xiaoxiang BMS

The last of those being the actual model number

I am interested in this as well. In Will's video he had to short the ground on the battery to the ground on the other side of the BMS to turn it on before plugging in the balance cables. The BMS in that video was a different model though. I did not do that last time I was trying to set up the battery... (I have the dykb/jbd BMS.

Tried to jump it today however the BMS is still not functioning. Is there any other test to determine if my module is dead (It was shipped to me from China in a bubblewrap envelope - not impressed and won't be ordering that again...
