Hi maybe somebody had the same problem and could help me.

I have 2 Easun 6048 charge controller that where working fine before but now I can not save the battery voltage setting on them.
All the other setting get changed but voltage goes always back to 12v and then I get the error that the battery voltage is to high because I run a 48V system.
Have tried different battery settings ... user, gel, li, ... always saving 48V and/or AUTO but the battery voltage will always go back to 12v system.

Cheers,
Christian

It is a 48V LiFePO4 DC System (3x Pylontech US5000 48V 4,8kwh] ... I have multiple other charge controller that charge the system and I am offgrid.
The Easun 6048 did also run in this system before but I changed them with other charge controller and have not used the Easun 6048 for a bit.
But now I need to add another solar array to the system and it just always falls back to 12v. I always put in 48V or AUTO but it just does not save that setting. All other setting I can change.

Cheers,
Christian

It could be faulty than. I found on some SCC the logic on them gets confused and if I set it to LA for a bit and than back to Lithium it clears up. You could also try using a different voltage battery and see if it works before trying the 48vDC ones. If none of that helps, not much you can do but see if any Warranty applies.

Instead of setting the voltage to 24 volts can you set it to auto select?

Maybe the solar charge controller is damaged.

Today it was sunny and it was connected to 3x280W Solar giving out 110V at the SCC.
Connected to a 12V 200Ah GEL Battery. Set to AUTO but also switched back to 12V.

The SCC was switching between the Mode 3 (night, not charging) and 4 (MPPT) with 0 Error and giving out 0A to the Battery.

Has somebody maybe another idea or knows what could be damaged?
I ordered a new MPPT SCC but still would like to fix it because I have 2 of the Easun 6048.
When there where working there did a really good job.

Cheers,
Christian

...
What are the SCC's max Voc ratings? If you exceed it (even for a brief time) than damage can occur.

*Helps to also tell us the PV Voc numbers and not the voltage you are seeing at the SCC.
