Eco-Worthy 48v 100A server rack battery $819.99

$848 for one. Could have saved 1/4 cup of coffee! Those paired inverter deals on eBay looked pretty good though
Hopefully there's an Easter sale or something happens the next couple months

And the big picture of the price hasn't swung that much Time to buy that coffee

I'm tempted to buy another six-pack, but I need to finish setting up my array properly first. It's kind of half-assed right now, which is why I haven't posted a picture of it. Some people here are scary vigilant—both in good and bad ways! lol

Saw them for $775 last night if you bought four and they threw in the rack.
Today they are back to $800 if you buy four.

Those first batteries at $719 were pretty sweet too
I still kick myself when had a second one literally in the cart for that price (again) yet waited to get home. then back up.

love the server rack batteries. so easy. so simple. has precharge resistor. BT. communications. excellent

The price is creeping up.
It's going to be interesting to see what the price is when they get in the next shipment.

I would love to get 1 or two 10K but have plenty of time to wait to move like a chess game.

Would 2 parallel 10K be able to start a 2 HP well pump? I have soft starts on HVAC but haven't tried it on well or pool pumps yet.

2HP at least 3kW to run and 15K to start from what I read.

I have a SunGoldPower 10kw (non parallel and an SRNE clone). The documentation says it can start a 6hp motor. Mine has no problem starting an old 3 ton HVAC system (condenser/compressor and air handler units) while running much of the rest of the house. When the HVAC starts my UPS's do not chirp which they will do if I am running off of my 12kw generator.

Howdy…I’m new to the forum. Question for the group. I have an EG4 rack with 4 of their Life Power 100ah batteries. I would like two more batteries and am thinking about getting a pair of these EWs since they are so much cheaper than the EG4s.

My concern is the terminals are reverse of my current ones which have the positive terminals on the left. I’m guessing I’ll need to find or fab up longer wires so I can reach the bus bars. Is there any issue with the wires being longer on two of the batteries? Any suggestion regarding what gauge wire I should be using?

Thanks!

Well you don't have much of a choice You're going to have to run wires to them so if you're concerned about additional voltage drop run bigger gauge that'll counteract the extra length.

I got 6 or them and they have been working great. Im so happy they did not price gouge like signature solar did with inventory that did not have tattif. They stated inventory needed to be replace an that would be more expensive. So lets see if they drop the price now since new inventory will be less tariff.
