ECO-WORTHY 48V 100Ah 5120Wh LiFePO4 Server Rack Battery

Sorry dude I am going to need proof of Life.
I have never met a Woman that was chill enough that I could pileup stuff on her washing machine, Sink or Stove top.
Those are sacred places for women much like a Mans tool box and work bench are off limits to Women.
If a Woman is stacking stuff on your work bench then that means that your man parts have probably been Clintonized.
I'm always taking over the kitchen table

Sheesh, I get in trouble for leaving a dish in the sink for more than five minutes.

Nice to see Eco-Worthy responding to the issues/suggestions in the thread. That goes a LONG way to assure potential buyers that they are committed. Not having any Eco-Worthy equipment, I don't have a dog in that fight.

Kitchen counter or dining room table?
Kitchen counter is off limits!
I find the Dining room table to be like a buffer zone or neutral territory in the house.
Both but you're right about the dining room table we rarely use it so as long as I put a towel down so I don't scratch it up I'm ok for a weekend

It sounds like you're the one that's had his nads snipped and kept on wife's bedside drawer ;)
She also tolerates a bunch of extension cords in the walkways.

She had zero reaction when my eldest son and I hauled the battery in this morning.

She did mention when I got my first full pallet of panels that it was the wife's role to spend money in a reckless fashion. I told her that in our modern marriage I have taken over that role. We laughed and laughed.

All looks like solid improvements, does the 10mm height increase affect the bundled rack or does it have enough leeway to handle 40mm of additional combined height from four batteries?
The minimum height of each layer of the rack is 150mm, so the improved battery height will be a bit close to the limit that the rack can bear. Although it is compatible, we will further modify the battery fixing ear openings and the rack to meet three purposes: 1. The new battery is compatible with the old rack; 2. The old battery is compatible with the new rack; 3. Easier installation experience.

This is what keeps this battery so entertaining, real time upgrades, we all take part in the improvements.

A very fulfilling experience. Meanwhile mine just keep chugging along and I can see each battery on Solar Assistant.

Will EW be releasing any documentation on the Modbus-RTU communications protocol?

I have this document now, but it's all in Chinese. Can you let me know your specific requirements? I am happy to translate the relevant content for you.
Considering that the vast majority of clients do not require such information, there are no plans to publicly release it at the moment.

I can translate it with several types of software.
I am developing a "Software Master BMS" that will collect data from all my different batteries including my EW batteries and present all as One" big battery to my Inverter in closed loop.
In addition all the battery data is translated to the PACE protocol and provided to Solar Assistant so SA can display all batteries with a single connection.
This is a start, each battery/BMS type is supported as a separate plugin.
Of course, with software I can also provide email, audible or visual alerts for any issues as well as possible battery charging control by controlling BMS MOSFETS and better control of the Inverters charging process by adjusting Bulk and Float Charge Voltages.

In addition, although the Modbus-Ascii commands can include a device address the response does not have the device address in it whereas with the Modbus-RTU commands which also have the device address, the response also has the device address.

this is why Im buying more EW properties. they actively communicate. the many rebrand batteries and products with weird names. eh, I'll pass

For anyone who bought the bluetooth module recommended by Eco-worthy.
This is an easy fix for in the case range problems. 2 pack of 12" extensions on Amazon for about $6. Just ran a vacuum while drilling.
See pics
I just got the v2 version that already comes with Bluetooth of course and yes the range is terrible but a little confused exactly what parts i need to extend the range.

I see these links:

https://www.amazon.com/Bingfu-Bulkhead-Cellular-Amplifier-Transmitter/dp/B07MJQWH8S

Guessing need that white connector/cable too? Or is that only if i am adding a new Bluetooth module?

Anyone help me out please as to exactly what i need?

Thanks.

I found a way to route the antenna out of the case, which increased the WiFi range quite a bit. Check page 63 of this thread.

What can you do with the WiFi?
Can you have multiple packs connected to a router and then be able to select them on the App or can you see all of them at once in the app?

you can connect through the JBD/EW app via wifi. I briefly connected it to my router and then backed it out. Not something I want to do.
I also don't want somone drive in front of my house to connect to it either. Good range but not 1/4 mile range.

Everybody's situation is different. I deal with Cybersecurity all the time so we just don't open up holes for critters to crawl in through.

Basically when you select from the master list of all the batteries, you can choose to connect via bt or wifi. I only have the one so can't speak for multiples plus its too far from my router with internal antenna no way it will get signal. It's like my pellet grill.

Let me see if I am following you.
Is it that the Battery is providing a Wifi hotspot and that you connect your phone to that Battery WiFi SSID and then open the App OR is it that you connect to the battery via Bluetooth and then use the App to find a Router to connect the Battery to. It then prompts for Password and is permanently connected. If so I assume each battery can connect to the Wifi and be seen on the App once it is connected to the router.

I did it through my wifi router so it acted as a client looking for a router. The phone connects same way through a router. Others may have done it a different way. You could take a cheap router not connected to the internet and connect everything through it.
