ECO-WORTHY 48V 100Ah 5120Wh LiFePO4 Server Rack Battery

On a separte note. I have two batteries connected via provided short ethernet cable and the main battery connected through RS232 port . Why do I see both batteries when I connected via EW software on Windows and can see only the battery on SA?
Known issue with Solar Assistant can't read the new JBD Smart (UP) series BMS.

We have been using a waveshare 4:1 RS485 to USB adapter for Solar Assistant.

Search this thread for it. Information overdrive but it is there.

Alright, so I pulled the trigger on a 6-pack before the prices change for these too. I was leaning toward EG4-LLs since I already have 4, but the sticker shock hit me hard! Since I already have two EcoWorthy batteries and an empty 6-bay server rack, I figured… why not?

It only set me back $5,380 😬🤣. Allegedly, they should arrive in 3–7 days, so we’ll see!

You may get the USB to RS485 adapters by then 😁 They have the packaging and shipping figured out by now so I would expect to your door in a week or less. They use FedEx so up to them now and how far off the beating path you are. Cycle them good with full charge and discharge and you will be in good shape. Crazy what is happening with prices and tariffs now but you got to do what you want to do 🤟

@BarracudaBob Yeah, I just had to go for it. My current battery bank was doing okay, but I wanted more capacity.

As for delivery, I think it depends on where you order from—Eco-Worthy’s website, eBay, or Amazon. It looks like they have a drop-shipping setup, but I noticed that the Amazon lot I ordered came from Texas.

If I’m not mistaken, orders from Eco-Worthy’s main site might be shipping from California (Rosemead/El Monte), which would be a lot closer to me logistically—assuming they actually have them in stock at their warehouse. I’m not sure where the eBay ones ship from, so maybe someone else here can chime in.

This might have been mentioned elsewhere in this thread. Just adding it for a potential datapoint. Today I found out this battery shut down a few days ago. I hooked up some monitoring software to it and it came back up at 63%.

Maybe someone has a solution for this already but I think I need to keep reading the bms for it to keep working.

We've already covered that there's a setting that makes the sleep timer last about 4 days but if it's not communicating with data the BMS shuts down

My V1 continued to shut down at times, even when connected to Solar assistant. Thought I had that fixed when I connected a sleeping V1 to my V1.5 and it instantly woke up. It later went back to sleep. Replaced the bms with the one EW sent, and all is fine.

Wowsers! I might get my 6-pack of batteries tomorrow—they're shipping from a warehouse just 20 miles away! 🚀 FedEx labels have already been created.

I’m almost tempted to pick them up myself—if only I had known they were shipping from that close! 😆

You trying to ginks me with the shutdown talk.

My V1 is connected to the V1.5 and the inverter. They have been performing great with the single EG4LPv1 paralleled knock-on wood, no shutdowns.
I am running closed loop "voltage" user defined but leave it connected just wondering if it is still seeing the batteries (2-EW) and communicating in the background just not using the info.

I set mine up to cycle daily with it going from 50-60 precent to fully charged and float so maybe that is keeping them awake per say.

SA is in the house I just haven't try to add it yet. The stock software for the EG4-3K is doing fine for my needs since I can't see the EW and EG4 batteries at the same time anyways with SA. It is a future addition with solar if that can ever happen.

As long as it's working, don't know that I'd change anything. I'm running mine open loop , user defined. I just installed a Victron smart shunt last week to do the communication to Solar Assistant. It's sure nice to have an accurate view of total bank SOC ( 2 EWs, a Vatrer & an EG4)

Looking at some of the pictures it looks like the handles were moved out to the rail mounts. we knew it was coming and they changed the photos on eBay.
