Hi there,

I am currently in the middle of van modifications planning. As I checked today, I have no space to build full instalation. I am considering Ecoflow Delta 1300 with set of solar panels (2x100W or 2x180W).

I have one question about that subject. Can someone explain me, how does life span of cell can be counted? Is it something that I do not understand.

800 cycles, does not sound as a lot in my opinion :)

Compare to lead-acid batteries. 300-500 is great for them.

A cycle is a discharge to empty (0%) from full and charge to full (100%). "Cycles" can also mean discharges to not completely empty and charging not all the to full, i.e., a discharge to 20% and a charge to 80% is also a cycle, but you will likely get many times more cycles than 800 cycles.

"800 cycles" doesn't mean that the battery is dead after 800 cycles. It means it only meets 60-80% of its rated capacity, depending on manufacturer's practices.

As an example, you had a 100Ah battery with a 800 cycle rating, that battery would have 60-80Ah of capacity after 800 cycles.
