Next build I’ll probably use AIMS inverter since edecoa’s seem to be a hot mess.

But my inverter alarmed and died after accidentally sending 4000watts through it. It won’t power on and the LED status light doesn’t work. The manual says possibly blown fuse, but I see nothing in the manual about the fuses location

Anyone with an edecoa know anymore on this?

Many of these cheap Chinese inverters are made by the same few factories, regardless of the name on the box. AIMS inverters are very similar to Sigineer and a few other brands. If yours is like the other brands, there are probably some automotive-type fuses inside on the PC boards. Please note: if you replace the fuses and blow the new ones, you've got one or more bad power MOSFETs, a good sign it was overheated. I've been finding that inverters have internal fans that don't turn on until you put a substantial load on them--they tend to run a lot cooler and be happier with an external fan that runs constantly.

If the thing is still under warranty, don't try to fix it yourself.
