EELBattery Cell Ah LIE - Pressure from Forum?

On January 15th I purchased 16 cells from eelbattery that had this description on their website:

However, the cells that they delivered are marked as LF314 with an Ah rating of 314:

I sent an email to eel battery on January 23rd (the day that I received the cells), stating the misrepresentation of the cell capacity:

On January 27th I received this reply, essentially offering no resolution or partial refund.

I sent another follow up email on January 27th reiterating my request, but do not have a reply.

First off wanted to let the Forum aware of the issue, second asking for some assistance to get to an acceptable resolution as the 314 Ah cells are available from other vendors for less than the amount shown below that I paid them.

Thanks to everyone in advance, open to ideas.

You need to be more worried about these cell terminals snapping off then the capacity:

Thank you for the input on the terminals...however I would appreciate not hijacking this thread as I am trying to solicit some support perhaps from Will to review and maybe apply some pressure to eelbattery so I can get to a solution for them mis-representing the Ah of the cells that I purchased

Have you capacity tested them to ensure they aren't "as advertised" ? Most vendors you will find who sell these advertise that their actual capacity is around 330ah

Not yet...but from the videos I have watched from Will, he has stated on multiple occasions that suppliers are dishonest to label/advertise/sell batteries or cells with a higher than mfg. stated capacity. Also...I would have but my load tester is fried and my inverter failed as well so I am struggling to find another way to test the capacity. Shouldn't a vendor sell in accordance with the stated capacity from the manufacturer?

EDIT: I found an inverter on FB Marketplace and will post test results hopefully tomorrow.

Yeah there is a lot of dishonesty with the vendors lately from what I've seen from other members, and yes they should advertise it as a 280ah cell as the manufacturer states. But I don't think you have much to stand on as far as being refunded unless you can prove that they are less than the rated capacity and even then it's unlikely to get a refund with these sellers from China, they pretty much say sorry bout your luck. You can do a charge back with your credit card company if you used one and sometimes PayPal will refund you if you provide evidence so hopefully you used one of those in case something goes wrong. I recommend always using a credit card in these sort of purchases. I hope it works out and your cells are good 👍

Well this is not good...did two full tests, started with a top balance to 3.6V then cut off at 10V for the pack. Only achieved 325 AH which is 103% of the marked 314Ah rating on the cells. Now how to hold eelbattery accountable for their deception1738691523667.png
