How do I make the default temperature for the remote at 90F?
Every time I turn it on it's at 69F.
I seem to recall it was default at a higher temp.

The way it works for me (older, pre DIY linesets) is the remotes are IR / line of sight. So, take it in another room or put your hand over the emitter, pre load the remote with temp and function (Heat/Cool) you want, then point at the EG4.

For mine, then the remote provides the same start up state every time the power button is pressed (?)

It's certainly possible it's been changed in newer firmware versions, since they added the stepped Limiter function, etc.

The only thing I use my remote for is when I want to turn it off. The phone app is a lot better if you have the older EG4 like me and Rob. 90F is pretty hot, I guess you are trying to get it to just run on maximum.

If I adjust temp on the remote outside the range of the indoors unit then it would work.
But it would still default to 69F.

If I only use the OFF button for both off and on (strange that it works both ways), then the last setting 90F is the default.
This is probably sufficient for my need.
