Hi, I’m trying to setup a small off-grid system with 900w solar input into EG4 3k inverter and EG4 5kWh battery.
I’m able to get the battery and inverter to work, but when I connect the PV input I’m getting 110v input but no amps.
I checked the solar panels and I see volts and amps from the panels.
I have 3 Silfab 370 HC in series.
Total VOC is under 500v, but total current is over the 18amps max draw.
Anyone know if this is the issue?
Is there limit on the amps input, I would expect it to cap at 18amps.

Any help will be much appreciated.
Many thanks.

Your PV input voltage is probably too low for this inverter:

PV voltage Input Range: 120V - 450V. You are seeing Voc of your PVs, under load, the MPPT cannot work ...

Seems to me, that you need a couple more PVs to get the Vmp up into the right range.

Thanks PoD. I managed to get it working by connecting an old 100w panel to push the Voc past 120 and the inverter is picking up the PV input now.
