hey all, recently picked up a 6000xp on sale and wired it up to a 16kw bank.

im trying to wire the input to a j1772 EV charger, which i have a device to mimic proximity and pilot wires, I have this exact setup working fine on a growatt and also a srne inverter no issue.

on the 6000xp no matter what i do, wire it to GEN, AC IN, change settings for charging, n-pe bond, nothing works, the inverter relays click constantly, sometimes it starts to charge for a few seconds then stops.

does this inverter absolutley need to have a neutral wire hooked up for gen/ac input?

it was on canadian amazon, 3rd party seller but fulfilled by amazon

edit: oh and it was a luxpower variant of the 6000xp

Just was thinking of doing the same thing with a j1772 socket. I don't have 240v near my 6000xp, but have a car charger with j1772 or Tesla located nearby. Figured that would be easy to do in a just in case scenario.
Is there no way to spoof a neutral to get it to work?
