If you are using closed loop, most BMSes have a limit of 16 batteries (4bit switch), with the battery sizes typically being 48v/100ah or 48v/~300ah. Beyond that it is simply a matter of getting a large enough busbars to connect the inverter and batteries to.
First, try to avoid placing batteries in series, as it's tough to keep them balanced. So, use 48V batteries in parallel.
Next, I am personally a fan of EG4 wall mount batteries but rack batteries also work well. The big thing to think about is how to combine individual batteries in parallel for connection to the 6000XP. For this, the bus bar is your friend.
