I cannot for the life of me change the time on the 6000xp. It keeps showing the time 8 hours ahead. I live in GMT -8, which is California. It is currently 8:00 p.m. here and the app is showing 4:00 a.m. I've tried looking through other forums where people posted how to change the time, under the sections Maintenance, Users, and Stations, but I had no luck.

I read the thread, did not work for me.

You might want to try the local app. Setting the time is the first entry under settings. I used the local app and set the time successfully.

It will let me set it to the correct time locally, but the moment I want to use it remotely, it changes back to 8 hours ahead...

This has been a problem for 18 months now.

EG4 customer service will do it for you but you had better be in a place with out day light savings time

Just another example of the vast problems EG4 could work on but chooses not to care about you.

Just talked with signature solar support. They say it's been an issue on the software side for the past 1-2 weeks. That it's a bug that resets your time to GMT -0. They said to wait for an update from luxpower...

We are actively working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We will let everyone know as soon as it has been fixed.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Newbie here. I've had my 6000xp going for about a week or 10 days now. I have never - ever - got the time to stay correct - it is always 5 hours ahead of EST. I can change it - hit read - correct time - hit read again - back to GMT. So I quit trying - just adjusted the scheduling to compensate. I noticed that yesterday the time was magically correct - and tonight its still correct. Have no idea why.

Same here, set mine successfully in the app and its been fine for 9+ months. Never checked the time on the 6000xp LCD screen though.

We experienced a server-side issue that was automatically adjusting times to GMT 0. However, this was resolved as of yesterday.
