Recheck all your connections you may actually have to take some of them apart wire brush them apply some no ox inhibitor and then reassemble and torque them to spec.I can't seem to get rid of this AFCI communication fault and therfore always have this: View attachment 247516which is annoying.
Any info as to what it is and why I can't get it to go away ? I have restarted the inverter a few times without success.
Thanks
Checked and torqued the battery connections yesterday. Are you referring to PV connections or something else ?Recheck all your connections you may actually have to take some of them apart wire brush them apply some no ox inhibitor and then reassemble and torque them to spec.
This detects an arc waveform which means you have a fault in your system somewhere most likely in your electrical connections,
If you discover any connections that were arching at one point and possibly corrected this by retorking the connection they need to be taken apart and cleaned before assembling and retorking you can also disable our fault protection in the inverter menu.Checked and torqued the battery connections yesterday. Turned off the arc fault enable and pressed clear arc fault, wala the arc fault is gone and I have a solid green light on the inverter for the first time.I'm not sure what a AFCI Com fault is but it definitely is on the PV. If you're sure everything is OK with your panels and wiring you could turn off the Arc fault until you get word from EG4
Just be sure everything is OK with your wiring/panels.Turned off the arc fault enable and pressed clear arc fault, wala the arc fault is gone and I have a solid green light on the inverter for the first time.
I'd think it would be "the inverter can't communicate with the Arc Fault Subsystem", but if you disable that function then it doesn't throw an error.Turned off the arc fault enable and pressed clear arc fault, wala the arc fault is gone and I have a solid green light on the inverter for the first time.
ccaa-190D0E and it's been reflashed by tech support. I do have a spare inverter that I could try but I want to hear back from tech support first.Hopefully it's just a software issue and your inverter doesn't have a problem. BTW what rev are you on?
Why is it off ? Is there a good reason to turn it on ? I have 3 inverters in parallel, 2 are fine and 1 has the afci issue.I'm running the same firmware but my AFCI has been off.
These would be the first steps to take if you had these warnings.

We are currently looking into this for you.
I recommend making sure that all neutral and ground connections are properly torqued. Also, how is the system grounded?
Other than disabling the too-sensitive sensor? Even the mfr stopped looking.I'm having the same issue. Has anyone found a resolution to this?
