We recommend checking these to identify the root cause of the fault. Please let us know if everything checks out, and we’ll continue troubleshooting with you.
- High battery voltage
- Improperly torqued battery terminal connections
- Unbalanced battery cells
- PV wiring issues
- PV voltage exceeding the recommended limits.
I sent you photos of the installIf you're experiencing issues after connecting to the grid, it may be related to a wiring problem. As previously mentioned, could you please provide a wiring diagram for review?
Update -Have you tried disconnecting AC In wiring since there was no issue prior to that? Have you tried dropping back to running each inverter individually (not in parallel)? You could try disconnecting PV and run on battery only, and try disconnecting the battery and run on PV only. At this stage, it's trial and error.
Got resolved, mine was a firmware issue. The tech at EG4 got R+D involved and they wrote a firmware specifically for this issue. He was patient and helpful.Nothing yet
Which firmware resolved the issue for you? I looked on EG4 website and could not find any info on the latest firmware. Has this been resolved? Did your new unites ship?***Update (kind of...)***
Spent several additional hours (March 11) on the phone with EG4 tech support/R&D to no avail. He suggested starting a RMA with the vendor. Ended up sending both units (shipped March 14 / CC received March 18) on my dime back to Current Connected to "expedite" the process and get back up and running. Everyone has been very helpful but this is now a month and a half between tech support and CC having my inverters. I was informed March 28th that a replacement will be sent but nothing has shipped. Was told today that they are "waiting on authorization". Getting getting frustrated... Would really like to wrap this up with a happy ending but losing faith.
