Hi all,
Probably there is already an answer on this forum but I couldn't locate one, so sorry for the noob question.
I have the EG4 6000XP set up in my RV with a couple of Renogy 48V 50Ah batteries connected in parallel. As it has turned out, Li-Ion battery type doesn't really work because it expects communication with BMS but my batteries are dumb ones, without a communication port. So, it has to be Lead-Acid type but I wonder what charge/discharge settings should be? I've found this post https://diysolarforum.com/threads/eg4-6000xp-battery-charge-settings.93642/post-1254561 with some figures and assembled the list based on it but are these proper settings for my particular batteries? Can any body please confirm that?
Battery type: lead acid
Charge Current: 100A (2 batteries in parallel, 50A each)
Charge Voltage: 56.2V
Charge Floating Voltage: 54.0V
Charge Equalization Voltage: 54.5V
Charge Equalization Period: 0
Charge Equalization Time: 0
Discharge Current Limit: 100A (2 batteries in parallel, 50A each)
Discharge Battery Warning Voltage: 45V
Discharge Cut-off Voltage: 42V (voltage Range is 42-55.5V based on the spec)
On Grid EOD Voltage: 45V
