Heyo. So, I have a 6500EX that is unused but I have opted for a Victron setup in the end (it's all for an RV build). I've been travelling in my van from FL, I am here on a pit stop in LA area for about 2-3 weeks, and then I'm going up to Bend OR.

Save a ton of money on shipping and taxes! I'd like to get 1250$ but I guess it all depends on if anyone wants to pay 1250$ for them ?

Thanks

(PS, i created a listing on Facebook marketplace as well if you want to snoop my profile out on there, but I don't want to cross-link it here )

Mmm, I might be wrapping up here in LA much faster than I thought and headed to Portland metro area soon (in a day or two) and then on towards Bend OR (where I'll be for the summer). I'll update the post title as appropriate!

I have arrived into Portland, I'll be in this area for a week or so, and then my final move to Bend. Updated the title.

With the tax break not available on a used unit and warranty issues you probably are only going to get 700 to 800 out of it a brand new unit is only about $970 after federal tax deduction

The tax break is available on a unit purchased from private party if it has never been used — at least according to my tax preparer. She just asked that I get receipts stating that it has never been used/installed when I purchase (which I did for the panels I bought, which are unused new in box, but also bought private party).

As for market value, I’m looking for offers!

The problem is did the original purchaser take the tax credit which could’ve happened and the unit still be in the box your tax person may want to double check the rules the irs doesn’t like double dipping
