Changes & Improvements:
Added new startup option "SOC/Volt + Time" for AC charge startup (Compatible with LCD V20).
Added two-time settings for generator startup.
Enabled AC coupling on EPS port for FlexBoss when paralleled with GridBoss.
Charge and discharge settings now synchronize—if charge control is set to SOC, discharge control automatically switches to SOC.
Changing the CT ratio on the monitoring site no longer requires a system restart.
Improved flicker issues.
Optimized standard voltage of BUS1 to 370V.
Enhanced communication fault alerts when connecting to GridBoss.
Improved PV switching and EPS output stability in low-sunlight conditions.
DCDC operation enhanced for greater stability.
Fixed parallel phase error issue when connecting a generator in a split-phase parallel system.

LCD V20 Update:
Added "SOC/Volt + Time" startup option for AC charge startup.

GridBoss

Added Separate Panel Mode to allow GridBoss to function as a standalone panel.
Optimized battery voltage settings, now limited between 40V and 59V.
Improved overcurrent detection and short-circuit detection.
Fixed an issue where monitoring incorrectly reported abnormal generator frequency/voltage when no generator was connected.
Resolved update failures when communication between GridBoss and inverter was lost.
Fixed system time inconsistency between GridBoss and the inverter.
Fixed charge/discharge functionality issues in non-shared battery mode.
Fixed alarm display issues related to abnormal generator voltage.
Resolved overcurrent issues on Smart Load 2.

6000XP

Improved smart load output response time when switching from on-grid to off-grid.
Fixed abnormal power flow display in each phase under bypass status.
Fixed bypass switching issues when PV off-grid status was abnormal in parallel systems.
Resolved an issue where changing safety regulations or battery types reset certain parameters to factory defaults.
Fixed power generation data not being saved or cleared properly.
Fixed an issue where dry contact would not work after GenBoost was enabled.

We recommend updating your firmware to take advantage of these new features and improvements. If you have any questions or need assistance with the update process, please contact our support team.

Are there any glitches we need to know about before updating?
I put this in another thread:.... I have 6000xp's but there is software for the 12000xp, the 12 and 18kpv as well.
There is new firmware that allegedly addresses these problems. It's CBCC-1900E0F dated 3-9-2025. If you are using the local app (I did) update it first or it won't see the new firmware. Also when updating after the app screen says the firmware update is complete....WAIT!! look at the inverters screen and you will see the ready (green light) still blinking slowly and a count up % will be incrementing in the lower right side. Wait until it hits 100% and a click is heard. Then reset the inverter.

Is there a link to the LCD v20 firmware update? thanks..

Does LCD v20 need to be installed via usb and does v18 need to be installed first?

I updated my 6000xp Tuesday to the latest firmware - ccaa-190E0F. Since the update there has been a somewhat different behavior when the battery is at/near full charge.

I've had perfect weather the past two days, so the battery has fully charged by about 10:30AM. Max AC load has been around 1500 W, average load about 500W (via Solar Assistant).

But after getting to full charge, even though the 20x 400W PVs are in full sun, I'm seeing the 6000xp pull around 400W from the battery for a few minutes, then charge the battery at 200 to 800W for a few minutes - then rinse and repeat while the sun's out.

Is there a setting that I need to adjust due to the new firmware update to tell the 6000xp to use PV power instead of battery? Is this a feature or a glitch in the new firmware?

This happened to me today as well.

Day after I updated (today) I noticed this. Current was at 0, fully charged, in float, and then a new load appears (water heater) and the PV just in and out for 10 minutes

Its not "for a few minutes" its changing every 3 seconds. Even faster than this graph shows.

I guess this is better than throwing the whole system to grid like what was happening before. Camera shows full sun on panels.

There should be a setting something along the lines of PV to power loads first or charge battery first, I don't have your inverter so I'm not sure exactly what to look for, but it is in the 18 kpv and flex boss.

@EG4TechSolutionsTeam,
To better describe the oscillation of the battery charge/discharge, here are before and after charts from Solar Assitant.
March 10, before the firmware upgrade:

March 12, after the firmware upgrade:

Is there a setting that will reduce or remove this power flow oscillation to/from the battery? Or is it possible to re-install the previous firmware?

Thanks.

WOW, that is 200 times worse than what I noticed today.Opera Snapshot_2025-03-13_201724_puscookie.us.solar-assistant.io.png

Here's my yesterday but keep in mind I'm closed loop with EG4 batteries.

Is the issue where batteries full and load greater than PV causing overload fixed? Might wait for next firmware update. This oscillation looks weird.
The thing with that is I don't know.

I called eg4 and they remotely fixed mine prior to the update.

The general consensus is that the inverter trips out when utilizing 12s lion or 15s lifepo.

If you haven't noticed it. I think you are safe on that.

BUT, I wish it waited on the update.
Mine was running perfect and now we have this oscillation after float.

I was fine, and now not so much.

But I don't think this oscillation is anywhere near as bad as throwing to grid every 5 minutes like what was happening to me.

Since we're all using SA to view this what version of SA are you all using? If you're using a beta there is a new one from 3-13 that fixes an unrelated issue with ip addresses you may want.
