I have 3 new EG4 Lifepower4 48v V2 and 1 older V1 that I have setup in parallel with my EG4 6000xp.

I update the V1 to the latest firmware

I also made my own network cable that only includes the brown and brown stripe wires.

I was expecting that the above changes would finally allow the 6000xp to recognize my old battery but it continues to only show the newer 3.

What else can I do to get this working?

Make sure you have the Protocol DIP switch #6 down on the Lifepower4 V2. This will allow you to communicate with LL and Lifepower4 V1 batteries.

Would be helpful if the EG4 LL battery manual was updated to also include the pin settings for the EG4 LifePower4 V1 battery.
The LifePower4 V1 uses pins 7&8 as one RS485 bus for battery to battery communications and pins 1&2 as a separate RS485 bus for either monitoring (BMS_Test or Solar Assistant) or for BMS to Inverter communications.

Did the inverter detect the Lifepower4 V1?
I have 4 LL batteries, all with the latest firmware tied into a EG4 6000XP and it is recognizing all 4 LL batteries. I have a LifePower4 V1 battery as a 5th battery and have updated the firmware to the latest 3.4 firmware. With the pin settings on On/Off/On/Off on the LifePower 4 V1 battery, the inverter does not recognize and communicate with the LifePower4 V1 battery. Any ideas as to what to try next?

Do you have suggestions for my system?
2 x EG4 LL-S
1 x Lifepower4 V2
3 x Lifepower 4 V1
Mounted in that order with the top EG4 LL-S as the Host battery.

All connected to a Schneider InsightHome.
Firmware updated on all batteries. Multipack firmware on the batteries that are supposed to have it.
The Schneider system seems to only display the information from the Host battery.

I would recommend the following dip switch ID numbers:

Lifpower4 V2 Master- View attachment 261103

Lifpower4 V2 - View attachment 261104

Lifpower4 V2 - View attachment 261105

Lifepower4 V1- View attachment 261096
