Hi how would I safely add a 280ah diy server rack battery to my existing eg4 ll 100ah sever rack which is connected to an eg4 3000 watt 48 volt all in one inverter charger with 6 550 watt bifacial panels?
Thanks

I have now 3x 100ah, 1x 280ah, and now 1x 314ah batteries in parallel. My 314 battery has way longer wires so I know it will be cycled less than the others but who cares. Eventually the capacity will even out and I will use the stored energy of the 315 battery. Where this matters is if you are demanding more current than one battery can supply and the uneven sharing of current may be an issue.

Works fine. The only thing that happens is sometimes the black one (280ah DIY) wont charge to 100% because the Inverters are communicating with EG4 only and will throttle the charging when EG4 gets to 99% while DIY is still @ 86-92% its will slow down to 10A charge for DIY. I manually shut off EG4 breakers once a week to charge DIY to 100%. This is temporary setup. Will go all server rack soon.
