Earlier today from the main monitor screen I was able to see a battery tab and when clicked gave detailed info on all of the connected batteries !
Now I can't for the life in me get back to or find that tab. I'm not mad, I really did see detailed battery info for all batteries. This surprised me because I thought only Solar Assistant gave this detailed info. Does anyone know how to get that tab and info to display ?????? Thanks !

Make sure you have selected the primary inverter if you have more than 1.
Also if the lithium battery is not set to protocol #1 you cannot see battery data.

It’s not a tab, it’s below the initial data and above the short/wide graph.

And yeah, not all of the numbers make sense, but it’s better than the default data, which tells you high and low cell voltages across the pack. Note that minimum and maximum voltage is for each battery is shown as the same cell, which makes no sense at all.

Protocol has always been #1 (lithium) , primary inverter selected. Still can not see the battery data. o_O SA shows the correct number of batts. and it gets it's info from the inverter.

I'm on the latest firmware and have never been able to see the battery info. I have 2 LL batteries and one Lifepower 4 (with updated firmware). The inverter recognizes all of the batteries.

WPNS must have a magic decoder ring or something :fp2, not sure what we are doing wrong! He also has the battery data populated which I don't, I only have battery current and volts.

I had to update to the latest firmware on *everything* and change Lithium battery type to "1", before I could see per battery data.

I've got one EG4 6000XP and two EG4 outdoor WallMounts.

What firmware are the LL batteries on and what is the CAN protocol and Lithium brand set to?
I have 2 LL-S batteries and a LifePower4 battery which had the firmware updated with the Signature Solar dongle. Not sure if there's an update on firmware on the LL-S batteries ... the RSD works, so I think it's firmware is up to date.

I had one of the older WIFI dongles and wasn't getting the extra battery info. EG4 sent me an updated WIFI dongle and now all of the information is reporting.

Something to consider if all other settings are correct.

latest multipac firmware on batts, can set to EG4, lithium set to "1". The mobile app shows battery number = 14 which is correct. No errors.
The battery details are not showing up on the mobile app or the web monitor page. Maybe I need to update the dongle firmware ????

I would verify that the firmware version is on Z02T17 or Z02T18 and make sure to change the CAN protocol to EG4/LUX. From there, you would want to have the Lithium Brand set to 1.

I will need to verify that the additional battery information will show on the multipack firmware. Also, what firmware version is your Wi-Fi dongle?

Given that I don't have a laptop, are there any other ways to check the firmware version via the LCD screen? Are your or Signature Solar providing a dongle for firmware updates on the LL-S battery similar to what was done on the LifePower 4 batteries? Not sure if you can tell the firmware according to test dates for the batteries, but the factory inspections were on 2023.10.11.
Please advise.

The best way to check the firmware version for the LL-S battery is by using BMS Tools. Currently, we don’t have an update dongle available for the LL-S battery and I am unaware of plans for this.

You will need to go to Configuration > Dongles and there will be a firmware version portion on the graph.

What if my WiFi dongle does not show a firmware version? I also don't see any useful battery data but SoC and Voltage with 3 Pylon protocol based batteries. I know the inverter sees data from the 3 batteries because the SoC and number of batteries changes when I switch a battery in or out of the system. Surely this information is just as important to users of batteries not sold be EG4.

Mine also shows nothing in the dongle firmware section of the chart. I’ve never been able to see the extra battery info but like everyone else I know the inverter sees my 6 LL’s.

You would need to have a BJ, BG, or a BE dongle in order to be able to update the firmware version.

We understand, as of now the battery information is only available with EG4 Batteries such as WallMount, LL-S, and the Lifepower4 V2.

Setting the protocol on the inverter to Lithium brand "1" should show you this information.
