Looking for advice on a schematic drawing program that runs on Apple Mac.
I would like to document the electrical system, solar and grid.
In the past I used an Apple product "Mac Draw" on my Lisa, worked great.
It has been explained to me that the 1980's are now over.

I tried LibreOffice "Draw", it is very slow and does not seem to have any libraries for breaker panels, solar equipment, etc.
Looked @ Solidworks, says "Windows only"

If there is no good option for my Mac, plan "B" - I also run Debian, if there is a good Linux drawing application.

I used Inkscape on my Mac. You're not going to find solar related libraries. Just download images of products you plan to buy and use those in your diagram. That's what I did.

The easiest is to use easyEDA.com in the browser;
100% free, nothing to install, learnt in a couple of hours and you can edit your schematics online.
You can do far more than only draw schematics, up to design PCBs, but i didn't go that far with easyEDA.
And the best is you can provide your schematics to others with a single link:
