I have built a 2P4S Battery from Lishen 272AH cells. I have a Powermax PM3-100lk charger. My Electrodacus BMS controls the charger with a Solid State Relay on the AC Line. The PowerMax is set for constant voltage of 14.2 and the BMS is set to turn it off when any cell reaches 3.55V. I have the BMS set to turn Charging back on at 3.30V. This keeps my battery between 97 and 99% charged when I am connected to shore power. Would there be any advantage to lowering the 3.3V setting to allow the battery to discharge more before recharging? I like the idea that the battery is almost fully charged at all times as long as it doesnt harm the battery.
