Has anyone installed an isolator in circuit for quick disconnect purposes and if so which location in the power train/ circuit did you place it..?? Bearing in mind I'm using an Electrodacus BMS so the shunt is first in line from the battery positive term. My train of thought is that the shunt and class T fuse should be prior to this disconnect switch ( 1500amp max, 500amp continuous rated) and when switched it disconnects the busbar arrangement I have in place... My other concern/thought is about the SCC input to the setup, in order to isolate fully the feed from the SCC will have to be connected to the outgoing side of the class T fuse, any thoughts folks..???
