If you can't bug in and stay where you are and hopefully have a good deal of situational awareness / connections / preparedness etc. Then why are you where you are? No amount of dollars or familiar ties would be worth living in a place you don't feel comfortable (which comes from who you are, not where you are).There's no need to bug out here. I'm bugging in. I can grow my own food, source my own water, and make my own electricity. I have a perimeter established with fencing and audible alarms. Originally designed for animals that will harm my chickens or gardens, it would also work for people.
Don't use not having a big bank account as an excuse, because I can tell you personally it's not needed.
So bust a move now, cause if you wait till you feel you must, FEMA camp is the only option you will have, we and many others will not be looking for "NEW" neighbors in a time like that.
PS good luck with your travel plans in a day when travel is restricted / prohibited...
