My Enphase system was installed in 2014, and consists of (33) M215 microinverters. I've had a total of 5 failures in the last three years, waiting on the latest two replacements now. The rest are original install units. I am in a coastal region, so there is plenty of corrosion potential.

I understand the newer units (including the replacements that emulate a M215) are better on longevity, but I am wondering if anybody has experience with the failure rates, especially on the M215s. As I look at eventually supplementing and potentially replacing this system, I am wondering if the Tigo optimizers are much better in terms of reliability-- it becomes a lot of equipment in a hostile environment either way.
