Envirosol is based out of Sugarcreek, OH. We have been installing off-grid systems for 15+ years, with a few current employees that have been with the company from near the beginning. In the off-grid market we have installed anything from very small with DC circuits and no inverter, to quite large with multiple inverters and even 3 phase. Up until the last 5 or so years, a very large majority of our installs were completely off-grid. In the last 5 or so years we have been doing more and more grid-tie with battery backup.

We are open to providing product for someone who wants to do a DIY install. Sometimes we will pre-wire a system and make all settings, or sometimes we simply provide inverters, charge controllers, batteries, solar panels, etc. and we program everything, but the buyer installs everything themselves. We are also open to someone doing a partial self-install, with us coming and finishing everything up.

Something that we are not very interested in doing is setting up a system that was fully bought elsewhere! It doesn't make sense from a business standpoint to provide setup and service for products that we have made no profit on, as we have plenty of business, and stay plenty busy, with installing and providing service for product that we sold. If someone has their own solar panels, but wants to get inverter, charge controller, batteries, etc. from us, we will usually work with them. Or if someone has an existing installation that needs new batteries, new inverter or solar panels, we will generally be open to helping out.

Sometimes we provide service for existing setups that have issues, and the owner is not having success getting support from the original installer or whoever the system was bought from originally, but usually our hourly rates for that are a bit higher to compensate for not having sold the product.

We generally work in the Eastern half of Ohio, though from time to time we go into the Western half as well.

We are fully licensed and insured to work in the state of Ohio.

Here are some ranges of what we have worked with:
battery size: anywhere from 12V 35AH to 48V 3,000AH
Inverter size: anywhere from 150 watt to 45kW
PV size: 50 watt to 100kW+
Inverter brands that we are very familiar with: Sol-Ark, Schneider, Magnum, Victron, Midnite (charge controllers)
Inverter brands that we have worked with, but not as familiar with: Outback, Midnite (inverters), LuxPower, Eg4
Battery brands very familiar with: U.S. Battery, Trojan, Sunlight, SBS, Ark, Rubix, Millertech
Battery brands we have worked with, but not as familiar with: Crown, Eg4, ReLion
Solar panels: we primarily are using HT bi-facials panels currently, both black frame and silver frame (400-550w range currently- 2024)

We also stock, sell and install Kohler 14RCA standby generators. These work quite well for auto-start backup for off-grid systems and have a valid warranty for this application as well.

The best way to reach out to us is by calling the office or stopping in. Here are those details:

Small quantity sales OK?

Like 4 panels picked up from your location?

Yep, absolutely! I would recommend calling the office before showing up, that way we can make sure we have whatever you need at the shop, as we do have some of our overstock at our other warehouse for storage. We are fine with selling even a single panel or mc4 connectors, etc. Nothing is too small for a retail sale, as long as it is in stock! :)

Howdy, neighbor! We're just up the road in Smithville! I've been reading your posts on here, and am impressed with your knowledge so far. Thanks for jumping in with both feet!

We're pretty much coasting on our personal project (SA15k, 17kW bifacials, 35 kWh of SOKs so far), but I have a friend in Fredericksburg who's in the process (currently considering options with some panels purchased). Happy to have a local supplier!

I'll share your contact information with him and we'll be in touch. Website?

Thanks!
Jim
