Epever eBox-01 Bluetooth issues

I recently got one of these to adjust the settings on my Epever Tracer A series.

I had to manually give the app permissions via the androids settings before it would work. (It only connects to Bluetooth in the app not through the Bluetooth connection management screen of the device)

Now it's connected, reading but errors out whenever I try to "send" changes.

Does anyone have any experience with these?

I had the same problem using the android "Charge Controller (LI)" app. (SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 latest Android update) It could read most settings but failed on the send or write function. On a whim I tried the Android, "sealed battery" version and it worked using user defined battery settings. So i just inputted the settings i needed for LifePod4 and it seems to have worked..
The (LI) APP IS BUSTED... You'd think a company like Epever could do a better job of updating their software. WTF!!

I gave up using this after my last post in 2019.

I went to load it up and now it won't even connect anymore.

Maybe the app is out of date?
